EDART was founded in 1934 by Louis Siegal as Siegal Transportation and later transformed by his sons Ed and Art into EDART Truck Rental and Leasing. Today, EDART is one of the largest independent truck rental and leasing companies in the U.S.---still owned and managed by the same family that founded the company more than seven decades ago. EDART provides the strength of a national company, yet offers the personal service that only an independent company can deliver.
